Hoc-Trade

Hoc-Trade is a technology company that develops behavioral analysis algorithms for retail trading. Our core product, TradeMedic™ AI, analyzes a trader's actual trading history to identify the specific behavioral and strategic patterns that most affect their performance, quantifying each pattern's real impact in the trader's own data. The algorithms are used by traders and brokers globally across forex, gold, oil, indices, crypto, and other CFD markets.

What we do

Behavioral analysis for retail trading

We build algorithms that answer a specific question: what is a trader actually doing, and which of those behaviors are costing or making them money?

Retail trading performance is shaped as much by behavioral patterns (how often someone trades, how they react to a loss, when they take profits, whether they align with the trend) as it is by market-reading or strategy. The patterns are individual, often persistent, and measurable. We built TradeMedic to detect them.

The platform ingests a trader's historical trade data and, drawing on an ongoing analysis of over 500,000 retail trader accounts, identifies the patterns that correlate most strongly with that trader's realized performance. Every finding is quantified in the trader's account currency. Every insight is grounded in that trader's own trades, not a generic checklist. Our research program publishes a selection of these findings as data-backed studies; the full, personalized analysis is available directly to traders and through broker partners globally.

Scope and compliance

What Hoc-Trade does not do

We are not a financial services provider.

We do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. We do not manage funds, execute trades, or make recommendations about what to trade or when. Our algorithms analyze behavioral patterns from historical trading data; any decision about how to trade, what to trade, or how much to risk remains solely the trader's.

How we work

Three principles

Data before intuition
Every pattern our algorithms detect, every claim we publish, and every insight in a TradeMedic report is derived from observed trading behavior. When we don't have data for something, we don't make a claim.
Constructive framing
Our algorithms identify behavioral patterns costing traders money, but we call these improvement opportunities, not weaknesses. Behavioral finance works when traders engage with the feedback, not when they feel judged.
Transparency over polish
Our methodology is published. Our dataset is cited in every finding. When a statistic comes from our research, we say so, with attribution. Trust in behavioral research is earned by showing the work.
